Carrie is an Equip Mentor at Able South Carolina. She is located at the Greenville Office. As an Equip mentor, she mentors young adults with disabilities, advocates for statewide policy changes, and manages content for Equip’s social media accounts.
As a lifelong disability advocate, Carrie is passionate about community inclusion, building community with others, advocacy, disability justice, and intersectionality. Outside of her part-time work with Able SC, Carrie volunteers with several social justice organizations to advocate for accessibility and intersectionality.
Carrie has a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and a Master’s degree in Social Work. In her free time, Carrie loves to read good books, create fan art and videos, act in community theatre plays, and write and stream something on one of the many streaming platforms.
