As Program Assistant at Able SC, Laura is the (wo)man behind the curtain. She works on a variety of programs and projects behind the scenes in order to help things run smoothly, such as helping out with Hire Me SC events and meetings, or compiling grant reports. She actually loves proofreading (good thing, since it’s one of her responsibilities) and sincerely hopes you find no errors in this bio.

Laura received her bachelor’s degree from Clemson University and her Master of Social Work from the University of South Carolina, with a specialization in Social, Community, and Economic Development. She is also a Licensed Master’s Social Worker.

A native of Miami, Florida, she fell in love with the Upstate and all four of its seasons. When she’s not at work, Laura enjoys spending time with her fiancé and their dogs, Flash and Roscoe, and cheering on her beloved Tigers (3-time National Champs!).
