McKenzie is a native of Irmo, SC. She’s a graduate of Dutch Fork HS and a UofSC alumni. After graduating from USC, she pursued a career in pharmacy.

During her time with CVS, she witnessed firsthand the day-to-day struggles of individuals and patients as they struggled to pay for medications and affordable healthcare. She made the decision to leave the pharmacy industry and begin working with elected officials and grassroots organizations across South Carolina to advocate and legislate for equitable healthcare. She is excited to join the team at Able SC. She considers her position as a disability health equity specialist a dream job.

McKenzie enjoys traveling, gardening, shopping, and brunch with friends. McKenzie resides in the Melrose Heights community in Forest Acres.
