Randy Phalen is the EQUIP Coordinator. She has been actively involved in the disability community since she was a child. In college, she worked with staff and administration to start the first American Sign Language (ASL) club as well as fought to have ASL offered as a foreign language in the curriculum. Coffee shops are her favorite places to be and perfect storms at her jam. She grew up in Greenville and lives in Spartanburg with her husband and fur baby, Foofy Bear.

As an adult with a disability, Randy knows the importance of being your own best advocate in the face of discrimination and is very dedicated to helping others become their own champions while on their journey to independent living. Randy is very excited to join the Able SC family and cannot wait to see what the future holds!
