As a Youth Independent Living Specialist, Savvy teaches young adults the skills they need to gain independence in their homes and communities. Savvy’s entire life has been influenced by her experience, not only as a person with Autism but as a mother, daughter, sister, and friend of people with differing disabilities. Savvy is a Greenville native who worked in service coordination and as a Registered Behavioral Therapist before finding her ‘work-home’ at Able SC. She learned about Able SC while completing the Partners in Policymaking Program through the Developmental Disabilities Council. Savvy has a Bachelor’s in Education and a Master’s in Developmental Psychology and is currently pursuing her Doctorate in Developmental Psychology. If you can’t find Savvy at work, she’s probably traveling or spending time with her family. She enjoys finding exotic animals to pet, skydiving, and exploring new places.
