Know the Plan. Stay Safe. Be Ready. Emergencies don’t wait — and neither should your preparation. This free, virtual training is designed by and for people with disabilities, giving you the practical tools and confidence to stay safe when it matters most. Whether you’re preparing for a natural disaster, a power outage, a medical emergency, or an everyday safety concern, you’ll leave with a plan that actually works for your life. What you’ll learn: 1. How to build a personalized emergency plan that fits your disability, your home, and your community 2. How to communicate your needs to first responders, neighbors, and support networks 3. How to stay informed and connected during a crisis 4. Your rights and resources when it comes to emergency access and accommodation This isn’t a lecture. It’s a hands-on, community-centered conversation led by people who get it — because lived experience matters in emergency planning. Space is limited. Register today and take the first step toward feeling prepared, protected, and in control. By registering for this event, you will be signed up to receive email messages and updates from Able South Carolina. Attendees may pick up a personal emergency kit upon completion of the training.
