Dear Friends, Allies, and fellow Advocates,
For 30 years, Able South Carolina has been a beacon of empowerment and change in the disability community. Guided by our mission, which remains rooted in being disability-led and cross-disability, we have had the honor of amplifying the voices of those we serve while forging meaningful partnerships at the local, state, and national levels. Linked is our 2022-23 Annual Report, which highlights the strides we’ve made and the impact we’ve achieved together.
This report showcases our commitment to fostering a culture of belonging for people with disabilities. Through our collective efforts, we’ve formed vital partnerships with state departments, led statewide taskforces, introduced innovative employment programs, supported youth with disabilities, and expanded our reach globally. These achievements reflect our shared dedication to creating spaces where everyone can thrive.
Your support has been instrumental in driving this progress. Together, we are transforming our vision of equity and inclusion into a reality. Think of the remarkable changes we can continue to make with your partnership, alongside people with disabilities, organizations, employers, and lawmakers. Your involvement is key to pushing our movement forward.
We invite you to join us at our annual Fundable event on November 15, 2024. It will be an opportunity to explore the future of our movement and imagine new possibilities together. Tickets and sponsorship opportunities are available at able-sc.org/fundable.
Thank you for your unwavering support and commitment to Able SC. Your contributions make a difference, and we are grateful for your role in this journey.
In Solidarity,
Kimberly Tissot, Able SC Chief Executive Officer
Cory Watson, Able SC President, Board of Directors
