Able South Carolina is a federally funded, disability-led Center for Independent Living (CIL) authorized under Title VII, Chapter 1, Part C of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, and funded through the Administration for Community Living under the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, promoting independence, self-determination, and the integration of individuals with all types of disabilities into the mainstream of American society.
