Julia Hartman

Julia Hartman is a Community Work Incentives Coordinator at Able SC. She enjoys helping people figure out how working impacts their benefits and explains how different benefit programs work. As a wheelchair user, her expertise goes beyond her professional experience.

Julia is passionate about employment opportunities for the disability community as she has faced barriers in the past. She advocates to make sure that others do not run into the same obstacles and perceptions that she did. She is on the board of the APSE Youth & Transition Committee and the South Carolina Disability Employment Coalition (SCDEC). She also has her peer support certification from the Georgia Peer Support Project.

When not working Julia enjoys reading and making jewelry.
