Able South Carolina promotional banner.

Able South Carolina (Able SC) is a Center for Independent Living (CIL)– a consumer-controlled, community-based, cross-disability nonprofit that provides an array of independent living services to people of all ages with all types of disabilities. Able SC challenges stereotypes, empowers disability rights, and leads social change. The majority of our staff and board of directors are individuals with disabilities, so we didn’t just learn our mission, we live it every day!

In the background are faded gray and white diagonal lines coming from the top right corner. In the front is a large orange lock. Text reads: "Advocacy Day for Access & Independence. Save the date: April 1, 2020, SC Statehouse, 9 AM - 12:30 PM. Join us in unlocking barriers for all people with disabilities. Facebook @SCAccessIndependence #BarrierFreeSC". A stamp effect has been applied to make the graphic appear like poster art.
2020 is gearing up to be a pivotal year for disability rights—for the elections, for the census, and for the 30th anniversary of the ADA. Join us at our annual Advocacy Day for Access & Independence to further unlock barriers for people with disabilities! Register here.
