Brittany Higgins Terry

Brittany Higgins Terry is a graduate of Columbia College with a BA in child and family studies. She set out to become an Early Interventionist but along the way became involved with advocating for people with disabilities. She sought support from Able SC as a consumer and later became one of the first three EQUIP Coordinators. She eventually became the Travel Trainer for The COMET and five years later, the Mobility Management Specialist. During her time as the Mobility Management Specialist for Able SC through a Partnership with The COMET, Brittany strived to create a Central Midlands that considers mobility for all. Today she works as a Community Work Incentives Coordinator, helping people with disabilities navigate working or increasing their wages while maintaining their benefits. In her personal life, She is a wife, pet owner, and 'Momma Brit', as her stepson says it. She likes crafting, creative writing, and swimming.
