As Director of Information and Referral, Jennifer manages the Information & Referral and Assistive Technology programs, assists with volunteers, and helps build relationships with community partners. She also helps keep the Greenville office organized and structured. Jennifer is passionate about connecting individuals to the right resources and services and helping create a more inclusive world.
Although located in the Greenville office, Jennifer was born and raised in Columbia, South Carolina. Jennifer received her Bachelor of Science in Economics from the University of South Carolina and her Master of Education from Harvard University. Before working for Able SC, she served as a Mandarin immersion teacher in the States, a TEFL (Teaching English as a Foreign Language) teacher in China, a school administrator, and an Executive Assistant/Office Administrator at the SC Council of Competitiveness.
Jennifer likes to refer to herself as an ABC (American-born Chinese). She previously lived in China for about 6 years and is fluent in Mandarin Chinese. She enjoys baking, cooking, eating good food, working on random crafts, and organizing in her free time. She is obsessed with sunscreen and has a gray and white cat named Brie.
