As an Office Assistant for Able South Carolina, Sue is responsible for performing a wide variety of administrative and clerical tasks in support of staff in the Greenville office. She is a point of contact for callers and visitors and provides support to the Information and Referral and Assistive Technology programs. Sue truly believes in promoting equality and access and enjoys working with staff and consumers to promote self-advocacy, empowerment, and inclusion.

Sue was raised in the Northeast and attended Penn State University for her Bachelor of Science degree in Rehabilitation Education. She then attended East Carolina University for her dual Master of Science degree in both Rehabilitation Counseling and Vocational Evaluation. The bulk of Sue’s work experience has involved working with individuals with disabilities in various settings, including vocational rehabilitation, school systems, and higher education.

Sue has spent half of her adult life in the southeast and half in the northeast. She is happy to be back in the southeast to enjoy the warmer weather and not do any more snow shoveling. In her spare time, she enjoys walking/hiking, traveling, photography, working on graphic design projects, and completing home improvement projects.
